Corgi Raincoat "Monocolor" | Waterproof Full-Body Dog Rain Suit

Short legs, long body, deep chest. Nothing off the shelf fits that.

A corgi is a big dog's chest on a small dog's legs. Put her in a standard size M and the sleeves hang past her paws while the belly stays open to the puddle she is standing in.

This one is cut from a corgi pattern.

• Shorter sleeves, drawn for corgi legs rather than shortened afterwards
• Elastic inserts under the armpits, so the paw can't slip inside the sleeve
• Belly fully covered, with the opening cut separately for boys, girls or unisex

What it does

• Membrane fabric: waterproof, windproof and breathable, so it doesn't get stuffy on a long walk
• Full body, all four legs, closed belly
• Elasticated cuffs and an opening for a collar or harness
• Potty opening
• Reflective piping down both sides
• Light mesh lining for autumn, or warm fleece for winter. You choose on this page.

One honest note: the seams are stitched, not taped. In a long downpour a little moisture can find its way through the stitching.

This listing is black, olive green and yellow, all with a standard zip. The mustard version has a waterproof membrane zip and is sold on its own.

Sizing

Chest girth decides the size. Back length only confirms it. Measure the back to the base of the tail, not the tip. On a corgi that matters twice over, because the back is long and it is easy to add five centimetres by accident.

Care

Machine wash at 30°C on a delicate cycle. No bleach, no tumble dryer, don't iron the membrane.

Sewn in our own workshop in Lviv, Ukraine, one to two days per coat. Delivery to the UK, Europe, the US and Canada usually takes 7 to 12 days.
