The ears are the whole problem.

A spaniel walks through wet grass with two long ears hanging straight into it. They come home soaked, full of seeds and mud, and they stay damp for hours. Every ear infection your vet has ever mentioned starts roughly there.

So this one has a long snood that covers the ears completely.

That is the part nobody else makes, and it is the reason this listing exists separately from the standard raincoat.

Cut for the breed

One honest note: the seams are stitched, not taped. In a long downpour a little moisture can find its way through the stitching.

This listing is black, olive green and yellow, all with a standard zip. The mustard version has a waterproof membrane zip and is sold on its own.

Sizing

Chest girth decides the size. Back length only confirms it. Measure the back to the base of the tail, not the tip. That is where most people go wrong and order a size too big.

Cavaliers usually land in F33, cockers in F38, springers and setters in F43.

F or A? The same dog fits both.

F33, F38 and F43 match A33, A38 and A43 body for body. The difference is that the F pattern has longer sleeves and the ear snood. If the ears aren't your problem, take the A size from the standard Monocolor listing instead and it will fit exactly as well.

Care

Machine wash at 30°C on a delicate cycle. No bleach, no tumble dryer, don't iron the membrane.

Sewn in our own workshop in Lviv, Ukraine, one to two days per coat. Delivery to the UK, Europe, the US and Canada usually takes 7 to 12 days.
