Whippet & Greyhound Raincoat "Monocolor" | Waterproof Full-Body Dog Rain Suit

Cut for a neck that no standard coat allows for.

A sighthound is a different geometry: long neck, deep narrow chest, tucked waist, and on most of them almost no coat to speak of. A raincoat drawn for a labrador hangs off the shoulders and gapes at the throat, which is exactly where the rain goes in.

What it does

• Membrane fabric: waterproof, windproof and breathable, so it doesn't get stuffy on a long walk
• Full body, all four legs, closed belly
• Elasticated cuffs and an opening for a collar or harness

• Reflective tape for the evening
• Light mesh lining for autumn, or warm fleece for winter. You choose on this page.

The fleece version matters more for these breeds than for most. A whippet has no undercoat to fall back on, and she will tell you about it.

One honest note: the seams are stitched, not taped. In a long downpour a little moisture can find its way through the stitching.

This listing is black, olive green and yellow, all with a standard zip. The mustard version has a waterproof membrane zip and is sold on its own.

Sizing

Chest girth decides the size. Back length only confirms it. Measure the back to the base of the tail, not the tip.

Care

Machine wash at 30°C on a delicate cycle. No bleach, no tumble dryer, don't iron the membrane.

Made and shipped

Sewn in our own workshop in Lviv, Ukraine, one to two days per coat. Delivery to the UK, Europe, the US and Canada usually takes 7 to 12 days.
